check out tickpick, seriously. they show all-in pricing, I saw ADTR for $16 and Menzingers for $9 over the past few months by waiting until the last minute on there

you’ve had bands come out and say they discussed with live nation who will be putting on the show and how it’s people who have worked in the hardcore/pop punk scene so they know how to set it up properly.

 

Not forgetting, just not letting recent high profile failures overtake everything else I know about LiveNation.

 

I guess I shouldn't be surprised maybe but it genuinally does surprise me how many people didn't seem to hear about live nation until astroworld. Especially on music centered forums where I presume people go to a lot of shows. And suddenly everyone on TikTok is a festival expert

I think one of my favorite comments is people saying this should be like warped tour and priced between $25-50 since it’s only one day and I’m like you can’t even get mcr tickets for that price. You think they be able to break even with that many bands at that price range lol.
