Fair! I was thinking it would draw in a bit of an older crowd too, but thinking about it, it might be hard to bring them over

 

I would go to a all day festival if there was a community nap time in the middle, like a siesta?

 

I mean, it would spark interest from that demo for sure. But will there be enough to get them to pay however many hundreds for a ticket, book a flight/place to stay, and such? You'd need enough of those acts and probably similar, younger ones that appeal such as Touche Amore, Joyce Manor, Illuminati Hotties, etc. But with each of those that you add? You're taking away from the core of the festival's purpose and value for people who really do love the Warped 2.0 aspect (which, based on social media--is the bulk of the draw here).

Warped had the Parents Tent or whatever it was called so they could chill out & escape the madness of the show while their kid raged, that now sounds pretty appealing as a concept for this Vegas nostalgia fest, lol. time is a circle

 

I was in the parents tent for some time last time I Went, yes.

Then I went to the mosh pit, front and center, when Sum41 played.

I had to shower in the misting stations after that, as I smelled of weed, beer, and sweat from the teenage boys around me.

 

What's an older crowd? I'll be 35 when this rolls around, and I don't feel too old for festivals and concerts yet. Am I delusional and starting to get to the age where I get noticed as the weird old guy who should be at home instead?

 

I'll be 36 when this comes, and I don't care. haha. I don't get tired from shows/festivals at all when I go. Maybe I have good genes?

 

When was Sleeping with Sirens/Sum41 warped tour? I dont remember many other bands. Pierce the Veil maybe.

I did fine then. If there was a lineup that Id have to stand, I dont know if I can do it anymore (medical conditions at this point), though I could try.

ETA: 2016 I guess

 

I wouldn’t anticipate this being annually unless they try different markets each year. Can see East Coast next year.
