Isn't that kind of expected though? Big bands closing their own stage at the end of the night. Always conflicts there. Part of the reason I'm not a huge festival person.

Seeing the same people that posted dumb conspiracy theories all week go on to post screenshots of their confirmation pages with shit like “welp let’s see if this is real lol” is really pissing me off on behalf of those waitlisted

 

I was really hoping all the "this is a scam" people would end up making the ticket launch a little slow, I was slacking. Hopefully I can get some resale tickets later on!

 

This week has had me learning that people really don't know anything about live shows and/or festivals at all, and also that everyone can just type whatever into the internet all the time. And like more people should go see these bands when they do headline runs!

 

Haha it’s already made its rounds on Facebook groups. Many times haha. But I didn’t pay $300 to see both Paramore and MCR haha. They can play at the same time and that would be just fine with me. Paramore forever!

 

For real. The amount of people that suddenly became festival promoters overnight is wild. Mfs doing long division like Livenation needs their homework double checked

 

I would imagine they would at least stagger Paramore and MCR if they have to play at the same time? Like Paramore 9:45-11:15 and MCR 10:30-midnight? Idk the last festival I went to was Bamboozle in 2010 lol

I feel like we're in the worst spot where basically the default is people to believe the counter, the conspiracy, and needing to find some "problem" and all that shit goes viral and perpetuates it. And then people want there to be a conspiracy, or an issue, to make a video about on TikTok.

 

True. I forgot that. Still makes no sense though, because all of it sold out instantly anyways. What were the cutoff points on the tiers? I mean, $20 is still $20. Just seems like more of the money grab here, which I guess shouldn't be surprising since the whole thing is one big nostalgia money grab. Interesting to see how this turns out, and if it's pulled off well, will they do it again?

Scheduling MCR and Paramore at the same time would be the dirtiest move. They know people went apeshit at the chance to see BOTH.

Don’t get me wrong, the headliners are fantastic, but the undercard is 90% of the reason this festival is fantastic. When Thursday and The Starting Line are in your poster’s bottom third (still wtfing over that), you are STACKED.
