Unfortunately I' thinking I'm gonna sell my ticket to this.

I definitely impulse purchased my ticket cause blink was playing and I was still riding the emotional high of last year's fest. But now that summer tours are starting to be announced for this year, pretty much all of the bands I want to see (except Panic! & The Cab) are gonna be touring nearby anyways. As fun as the lineup is, I don't think it's worth another trip to Vegas for me, lol.

I think this is the first year I only do one day. The lineup is fun and all but I'm only really going for Panic. Don't think I need day 2. I've seen most of these bands anyways

I’m glad they added a day 2 so hopefully I can get cheap resell. I’ve got a free place to crash and it’s only a 5 hour drive for me

I’m starting to think this may finally work out for me this year. Talking with some friends and we’re trying to decide between GA and GA+. Is it worth the extra $100?

Day 2 isn't sold out yet. I've gotten like 4 texts that tickets are on sale. I get it lol

Unsurprising, I don't think it's sold out either of the past two years lol.

Yeah my wife got like 8 of them, which is weird because we don’t recall her ever being on the mailing list?

Yeah I got 6 texts from them yesterday. I would have bought tickets if they were $100 cheaper

I got a bunch too I think the first two years I only got like two the first about the code to join the sale and then another one that it almost instantly sold out lol i'm glad it sold enough to do two dates this year that way there is a better chance they continue it next year, and if I decide to go this year maybe resell will be cheaper, I don't feel like paying $463 for one ticket

I would have strongly considered it as well. It's just really hard for me to justify dropping $463.25 (inc. tax) on WWWY when I'm getting 2 days of Warped Tour for $157.78 (inc. tax).

The first year was $323.98 (inc. tax) for me. Year 2 was $363.20 (inc. tax). I didn't go last year cause I felt like it was too expensive, and I still I don't think I can justify an extra $100 for it.

I don’t see any benefit in GA+. It’s just a separate set of bathrooms and a different line at the entrance. You don’t get access to the VIP viewing area which IMO is the only thing that would be worth paying extra over the GA price for.

Does anyone else think this is it? Last year?

I feel like it’s like that nu metal festival just ran out of nostalgic bands. You can only bite from the apple a couple times before people say “It’s the same festival as last year.”

Yeah I heard Just Like Heaven (similar nostalgia fest) might not come back next year. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was the last year. Who else is left to get?

Potentially. Sick New World was cancelled after low sales, WWWY seems to be slowing down in interest. Pretty sure someone also posted an article in here or in tour speculation thread that the property the festival operates on was being sold. Best case they take a year or just move to a new location if that sale happens.

Skipping a year wouldn't be the worst idea

There's a few low card acts that are still available to be tapped but I dont know if Sugarcult, Allister, and Mest are gonna move 20,000 tickets lol

Possibly. These things would be better if they did them less often. Something like the Olympics every 4 years or so.

Take a break. I agree. Nothing wrong with Vegas.

Album idea was neat but if youre gonna do that you gotta do some truly unique gets. I made the list before...Paramore RIOT, Green Day DOOKIE, AFI sing of sorrow, Blink ENEMA, etc. Now thats some eye popping ideas

But even with that, these festivals are about attracting normies. Normies dont care about deep cuts that much.

I realize this would never happen in a million years but......................... Imagine a festival with say 50 bands of a specific genre, and you show up and don't know any of the bands playing until literally they take the stage. The later in the day it gets the bigger the bands get. You wouldn't know the headliner until 9pm. I know festivals often sell tickets before the lineup is announced but here you wouldn't even know the lineup the day of. Kind of like a festival of surprise bands in a specific genre. Obviously would never happen but would be interesting.

To be fair I am in Minneapolis, but we don't really get large festivals like that.
