Looks like there probably won’t be a second show. I waitlisted for the unannounced Sunday show but just received an email saying my request for VIP tickets are approved for Saturday.

Damn, that’s gonna make it much harder to snag a ticket

Yeah I don’t think a Day 2 is happening. With Sick New World canceled due to low sales, the festival grounds being for sale, and so many repeats on the lineup, I think When We Were Young has run its course for now.

I’ve been all three years and going this one too - they’ve been some of the best days of my life. Gonna make this year count.

    The intrusive whisper fascinates me

That’s kind of surprising. There were a lot of repeats, but I def would’ve thought the Panic! reunion would’ve got people invested. Guess I was wrong

I'm most likely skipping this year, even though there is some great first timers like the gaslight anthem, weezer, straylight run, letlive the undercard doesn't wow me like the first two las vegas years

I think there is excitement for Panic to play shows, but the trip to Vegas for WWWY is already expensive enough, not to mention the price to get in the door is 350-450 for GA.

Plus it’s not the original lineup, it’s only been 2.5 years since Panic last played, and I saw Panic *in* Vegas on their last tour, the night *before* the first WWWY, and the upper deck of the arena was curtained off and the show wasn’t sold out.

They’ll probably tour it in 2026 too, just like MCR is for The Black Parade

I’m not completely sold that Panic will do a tour. But they definitely promoted MCR performing Black Parade as a festival-exclusive and that was a lie (just like “everyone performing albums in full” was also a lie)

Yeah and I wouldn’t have driven to Vegas last year if I knew that haha

That's interesting. Thanks for sharing. So they held back tickets for day 1, and now they're just selling those to the people who waitlisted day 2.
I think the problem is that this is the second year that they've basically just recycled a lot of the bands from the previous years. The first two years didn't have that much overlap. Last year, the album thing was kind of interesting, but it wasn't enough of a draw for the cost to see 80% of the same bands I saw the first two years. This year feels more of the same (especially with blink-182 headlining again). I'd like to see P!ATD, but I also remember how insane the main stage is at the end of the night, and you're so damned far from them that you can barely even see what's happening. I'll gamble on them possibly touring again.

Not sure if they held back tickets. Most likely some people failed their payment plans and that opened a small amount to waitlisters. Or they’re just overselling Day 1 lol

Haha I mean also it's not as if Panic had been "broken up" for that long either.

I remember after year 2 thinking "they literally did allllllll of the bands, other than a few smaller acts and panic...what else they got?"

    Answer...eh yeah lol that's it.

Didn’t panic pretty much break up to wait out some accusations?

I don't have specifics but I am pretty sure the allegations came up and then a few years later he retired the band

I was expecting for them to book some of the newer acts that plays arenas like Twenty One Pilots or MGK as headliners since year 3

And Im also surprised Panic is billed above Blink. I do understand is their "reunion", but Panic couldnt sell out arenas on their last tour while Blink was playing stadiums in some markets

Panic isn't billed above blink, they are co-headliners and billed at the exact same level

Panic is absolutely billed above blink because they are playing last. They're on the same line on the poster and are technically co-headlining, but the set time is the most important thing.

I'm not going to explain poster billing and festivals to anyone here

I mean if you think Green Day didn't negotiate to be billed over blink (AND get more time than them) when they played together in 2023....

Panic was also touring on what was by far their worst and least popular album. They've had some bigger hits over the past few album releases than blink has, including the collab with Taylor Swift. And blink is touring a ton and has already played the festival.

They’re billed above blink in the sense that their placement on the posters indicates they are closing the festival and playing after blink. Technically co-headliners in terms of “font size on the poster” but the point here stands - them playing last over blink is definitely interesting.
