I feel like Panic + Blink is the highest demanding set of headliners they've ever had, mainly because Panic is a one-off reunion doing their most loved album that they've notoriously ignored for 15 years. I'd be shocked if this isn't sold out in the next hour and a second date isn't eventually announced.
I think this is the most likely to sell slowest, no? Blink have toured loads, so them headlining isn't a massive "get". Panic is a huge get, but that'll be the main pull of the line-up. The rest of the line-up is cool but it's fewer artists and less one-offs etc.
I mean panic broke up just last year and their tour was ...very badly sold A lot interested in a fever play through do not care if it's just Brendon, their more casual fans aren't invested enough for that album for the most part imho. 2023 didn't add a second date until January so... could go either way
The waitlist will fulfill an order at tier 4 when it’s announced. Anyone know if day 2 starts at tier 4 in previous years? I’d like to go but that’s way too much money lol
Got through the standby page 5 mins before onsale, and was able to checkout with the $325 GA precisely at noon (central time). Best luck I've had with any FGT onsale! Hopefully I'll be able to snag a Day 2 VIP later down the line, but I still haven't even finished paying off my plane ticket for this year's trip, lol.
Weird they haven't announced a Day 2 yet, feels like they usually do it within a couple hours of Day 1 selling out.
For the 2023 fest the second day didn’t get announced until 4 months later. But I think last year the second day was announced almost immediately after the sell out.
Too busy trying to get Ryan Ross to answer his phone :P Yeah. Second day actually went on sale straight away briefly, before they added the "SIGN UP TO DEMAND A SECOND DAY" thing. Got tickets before they switched it to waitlist mode (aka they could charge people up front instead of the payment plan being an option)
I don’t get why people still buy the high tier tickets when could just wait and get lower tier tickets for 2nd day
I’d much rather go on Saturday, have Sunday to recover by the pool, and head home Monday. Easier on my elder bones lol
I know the tweet is older but the waitlist sign up for 2024 had 3 times the retweets. If signups and demand tracked similarly I'd doubt a day two. Of course social media stats don't track exactly but it's interesting.
Surprised the 2023 version didn’t do 3 days given the Green Day/Blink combination. I assume that’s because Green Day has been so omnipresent over the past 5-6 years though.
I’m assuming after the first year that logistically adding a 3rd day a week after just probably isn’t worth it
not going next year. the lineup is meh, most of the bands i wanna see i’ve already seen at wwwy other than all time low and avril lavigne. i’d rather go to mcr’s tour
MCR doesn’t have any tour lined up though, right? I think Frank has a lot of L.S. Dunes time next year.
nope, there was a rumor the other day that ended up being bullshit but people are still clinging to it
Dunes just have the Coheed cruise in November and a Rise Against Europe run in Feb right after the album release. No headline shows yet and the year is still pretty open. Also Frank previously stated he'd have a fill in on tour if needs be (aka mcr taking priority) Announcement date was a bullshit guess for clout, tour is very real don't worry.
