  1. Just have everyone sing karaoke along with their studio tracks. Easy breezy! haha

There is a post on tumblr that has 5000+ notes with people complaining and comparing this to fyre fest. I can’t believe what some people are using as “proof” that this is a scam. Some bands don’t have it on their website yet so it’s a scam! Why are people so dumb helplppppp

Can this go on sale so we can stop seeing the same five red flag posts

    - Emo Fyre Fest
    - Live Nation did Astroworld
    - (insert band name here) didn't even know they were on it
    - 60 bands on three stages is impossible
    - No refunds

All those points are dumb, but people running with no refunds as an issue is truly baffling

I will try and get my ticket tomorrow but will wait with the hotel. I am guessing there would be some sort of event the night before too, probably a preshow concert or some sort of emo night...

  7. Worst case scenario is it’ll be a shit show and you’ll have a wild story to tell for the documentary.

FYI when I booked my hotel on Tuesday there were a lot of "Book now, pay at check in" rooms available at good prices and free cancellation till October. Might be a good idea just to lock it in before prices go up or booked up.

On Booking.com I found a lot of offers like that, but the room I booked was at the Hilton Embassy Suites. It's 3 miles from the festival, but a couple of blocks from the Strip, which seemed like a more ideal location.

If you're gonna go to Vegas, do the Vegas experience. Strip or bust.

I really wanted to be ON the strip, but prices were absurd. I figured it was worth the 2 block walk to pay half the price lol

Hotel prices were kind of dumb compared to what I normally see. I'm at one of the older hotels and with the resort fee it was like $130/night (which isn't expensive, but it's more than what this dump would have normally cost). But I've been to Vegas so many times and never had an issue even in the cheap hotels, so all I was trying to do was lock it in the for the lowest price. This will be my 7th time going. Some people hate it, but personally I love Vegas and get the craving to go every year. I'll be there Thurs leaving Mon and just make a long weekend of it.

If this was true, I wouldn't go to the right stage all day and only go to the left stage for DgD, the used & Jimmy. Didn't even sweat on any of these conflicts.

Ugh I keep saying I'm not going but legit, it's seeing Avril in this type of atmosphere that's confusing me. I've never seen her on a bill like this

Hotels are typically cheaper in Vegas than other areas. They really just want you in a room, so you can blow all your money at the casino.

  22. Avril, jxdn, and LilHuddy are all under Travis Barker's wing right now so it makes sense. Caters to the younger people who will come for Paramore and MCR. But Avril makes the most sense on this lineup out of the 3 of them. Everyone knows who Avril is.

  23. When I'm alone, I like getting hotels that are just off the strip. It's still close enough to walk to the strip, but waaaay cheaper. Sure, they're a little less comfortable or whatever, but if you're there to sleep for one night, who cares?

I've only ever stayed at the Flamingo when visiting Vegas. My sister used to live in Vegas for 10 years. She initially lived near the strip before moving to Henderson. When I would visit her, I always booked a hotel because...if I'm going to Vegas, I'm not staying in Henderson, haha. Although Flamingo is one of the oldest hotels/casinos on the strip, it's still right in the middle of everything thus, a great place to stay.
