Lmao Craig was definitely lip syncing. That is the exact vocal track from the album.

dude sucks and always has. He’s a shitty dude, and there’s a reason nobody from any Chiodos lineup wants to be around him

A 40 year old probably shouldn’t be sounding like that record anyway

Gotta say mannnn the ghost stage has some of the worst sound I’ve heard in a long time. Tooooo much kick and bass. Hurts even through ear plugs.

that is the part that has me thinking it’s true, I just listened to the album last week and the vocals 100% sound like and are timed exactly like the record, and live and 20 years later, not sure he pulls that off

Absolutely no chance Craig sounds like that live. He couldn’t even pull that shit live when the album first came out.

Seeing Chiodos in a bit, will report back. But there is 100% a noticeable delay on video boards

Carr on the other hand… totally lip syncing and not trying to hide it

I felt like Carr did that on the FOB tour this year. It sounded too good, but I didn’t know for sure. I’m not surprised.

I was wondering who was involved in this and then learned it appears to be no one.

Dashboard has opened for them as well as has Bayside, Cartel, Say Anything, The Wonder Years, Taking Back Sunday, We Are The In Crowd.

Might be a few more I’m missing.

He played with DRUGS when I saw them earlier this year. He was very annoying.

Gave Chiodos the benefit of the doubt… yeah there’s a LOT of lip syncing. I won’t say it was 100% a track, but it was rare it felt like live singing. Even the band mostly felt too good. So deflating, last band of my weekend and one of the most anticipated. Couldn’t even sing along, if he’s not why should I?

The used got their set cut off during the taste of ink, and so many are pissed on social media at the festival. A lot of these idiots don't even know what album the song is from and say the festival should've known how long the album playthrough was even though this song isn't on it.

Just so happened to come in to ask a related question. When this show was announced there were a lot of questions about how bands would fit a full album into a warped-tour-like set, and from these comments it seems like some bands were able to and some weren’t (I’m surprised they’d actually cut a band off halfway thru a 3 minute song).

Is that because later bands generally had longer sets so shorter sets tended to abandon album plays? Did some play really uptempo? What are peoples’ general perception of how the fest and sets went? A friend of mine said they pulled it off really well thanks to rotating stages a la taste of chaos, but if that’s so I’m surprised to see many groups get cut off.

i think main problem is set lengths weren’t long enough to accommodate all the albums (5 min extra across the board would’ve helped)

secondary issue is that bands wanted to insert a non album song or two

some bands also wasted time talking or other antics. “Chiodos” played shitty badxchannels style beats/interludes between each song

It was Bert's fault he is a straight up troll, probably did it so those that are foaming at the mouth to call this festival emo fyre fest and a shit show more material. There is already valid criticism that they can use but instead love the misinformation instead. They were advertised to play In love and death, and purposely went over their set time with the taste of ink. I'm not sure of any other band getting rightfully cut off.

The last time I saw them at Warped Tour he trolled the crowd by having them chant "fuck donald trump" and then him saying that he actually likes Donald trump and that he is a smart business man. He is similar to Ronnie radke that he likes to start shit and knows others will talk about it on social media.

Bert just feels like someone that will get cancelled eventually. On stage alone he comes across badly. And judging by what Quinn has alluded to, his upcoming book is going to shed some light too.

The Used is the only band I’m aware of getting cut off. In my experience, all of the bands seemed to have their own approach - either playing the full album (or most of it) or simply playing a set that at least heavily favored said album. Nobody was rushing through their set, though.

It all felt totally normal and I personally didn’t see or hear anyone complaining at any of the sets I attended. I think most people understood the time/logistical constraints of it and just seemed to be enjoying the experience. Lots of smiling, singing along, etc., even during the sets that weren’t doing a strict album play through.

That said, the crowds were massive, so I’m sure somewhere in there some people were bummed out at certain points, but that definitely didn’t seem like the prevailing sentiment.

YUP I was wrong. You can tell by his screams - they’ve never sounded like that live and around 2:52 he’d never be able to hit that high note and sound like that. Embarrassing stuff.
