My schedule of the day. I will get to VIP starting TBS and will try to get as close as possible for MCR while mantaining good view for the other stage
Neck Deep had a great show last night. I think the venue was the dirt worst, though. The Home Team was even more popular than expected and won over a lot of the people who didn’t know them. The crowd was beyond stoked for ND
I just used spothero to book a spot for $42.xx I don't do valet otherwise there was one available 2 miles away for $10.xx
Started moving inside at 930. Waiting for a rope drop - people are confused and clearly haven’t been to Disney world. App is counting down to 10
Just saw on TikTok rope drop. So many SPRINTING to the main stage to camp out all day. good luck to you all
Same thing happened at knocked loose. They stopped and cut a song so some overzealous mosher could get dragged out. Didnt see exactly what happened but def ended up with a dude dragged out by security to pit cheering so whatever he did, those around felt he deserved to go.
This whole thing feels like kind of a shit show. Lmao I’m going Sunday because my SO really wanted to go. I’m in this for the ride and to maybe see all of is a real boy.
85k people in an area like this is always just a lot. It would be a much more pleasurable experience if it was like, 50k.
Hope everyone has a great time but Live Nation are laughing their way to the bank on this. 85k and making what is clearly a 2 day event into a one dayer is just pure greed. Just sets such a shittty precedent for the quality of mainstream festivals and events.
According to Reddit Dashboard didn’t play Dusk & Summer, just a greatest hits set. Let’s see how many other bands ditch the album plays
Mike commented in an AMA that they signed on to play before they were told about the album theme and they were told, not asked to do plagues. They are going to play it, but I’m sure most bands were signed on and then told the album theme and what album they were gonna do.
I’ve seen Cartel, Underoath, The Forecast, Thursday and Tonight Alive so far and their sets were all album songs except the last song from Underoath (Writing on the Wall) and I think Tonight Alive. They’re not all playing their albums in their entirety depending on their set time of course.
I think coheed ending up playing all of IV except the final cuts (could be wrong) and added couple of others
I’d be pissed if I paid to go to this and bands were not playing the album’s that the festival promoted. That was literally the main thing that convinced a lot of people to attend. I don’t blame the bands though, that’s on the festival for promoting/promising things without having crystal clear agreements with the bands. I am surprised that this didn’t become apparent sooner considering the festival has been announced for a year.
