Does look like Chiodos “reunion” is Craig and players. Frail Body drummer is playing this weekend for them.
If I were going, I'd do: Carr, LS Dunes, Cartel, Dashboard Confessional, half of Thursday, Story of the Year, half of Senses Fail, the Wonder Years, Taking Back Sunday, Motion City Soundtrack, Bayside, Jimmy Eat World, Mom Jeans, Fall Out Boy, and Nada Surf That Jimmy Eat World / New Found Glory / Basement overlap is truly brutal and if I were going... Would probably make me wish I weren't. That'd be my three top priority acts.
When has the map been revealed in the past? I kinda feel like production is still trying to figure shit out & it's not final yet. The layout is gonna have a ton of influence on both of my days so I'm not wandering around too much
Should be mostly the same as sick new world, same amount of stages and there’s only so much variation you can do in the space
Weirdly excited for Plagues. Haven't listened to TDWP since the zombie stuff and feel like they are far better musicians now so the record will sound nuts.
I agree, have seen them twice pre 2013 and twice after 2022 and now they sound way batter than before! Very excited to see them!
Based on videos on tik tok of the set up so far the main stages look like they are where they've been the last two years.
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTFHBApYf/ I’ve been trying to look at those too,I can really only tell about purple/pink stages. This is the most recent one
Just for the hell of it for comparison. Definitely helps me out seeing that there was constant overlap on all 3 non main stage. Also... holy fuck those stages are way more packed in than WWWY. 57 artists on the 3 non main stages at SNW vs 45 at WWWY. SNW had 15 on the main stages, WWWY has 16
Should be sometime in the next day or two. That’s basically the same map as WWWY 2022 was, I believe.
Sick new world is adding platinum tickets for next year. Pretty sure if wwwy happenes next year they will have them too
First year going and got vip. Happy I won't know any better lol. Might end up in GA anyways for some bands as I imagine there won't be any pits going on in the vip area. Got it for quicker entry and food/drinks too tho.
If people could be cool instead of wasting their entire day camping in front of a stage to see a headliner, everyone could have a more enjoyable time.
I will say that everyone piling in at the main stages made seeing bands on the side stages a piece of cake last year. It felt like only Simple Plan and Thrice really got crowded at the end of the night while I was able to get really close for Finch and The Academy Is with no trouble at all. I tried heading over to the main stages a couple of times and realized I was going to be stuck there all day if I bothered getting anywhere near even the middle of the crowd. With MCR and FOB, I’d be stunned if it wasn’t even worse. I’m remembering those two on Warped Tour 2005 and the literal stampedes toward their main stage slots whenever they were scheduled.
Last year I do remember it being pretty empty right before Thrice started playing and it being easy getting closer to the stage but at some points looking back once they started and it feeling pretty packed. They played a perfect setlist for the type of festival it is.
