TWY just did a TGG 10 Year run. Go see The Maine since they hardly ever play more than 1-2 CSWS songs!
Purple and Pink stages are right next to each other. When one band ends, the other one starts. So one band's end time is essentially the start time of the next band. Ghost and Allianz stages might be the same way.
This makes it seem like only purple/pink are beside each other and the layout is gonna be pretty different than the last time they had 5 stages
Also, At first glance I noticed Mayday Parade have 40 minutes (35 if there i 5 minutes between each set), and A Lesson in Romantics is 46 minutes long
I'm relieved I ended up deciding not to go. The Forecast is who I want to see the most, but with them playing sooo early, I'd probably end up missing them. Last year, it took me almost an hour just to get into the venue after going through like 3 security checkpoints. I ended up missing all of Fenix Tx and all but one song from The Ataris.
Dont think Ghost and Allianz go one and one, if so Boys Like Girls would play only 10 minutes before Mom Jeans
yeah, i noticed that too. but last year, i remember 2 of the side stages being right next to each other without much overlap. but i might be misremembering.
Also it's going to vary but in my opinion some pretty shit bands with some primo spots.... Can't believe how late in the day some bands are billed compared to others.
lol is the first all that painful? One band on the top of their game, another with a hot mess of a singer and the third who tours 9 months out of the year.
This would actually be a pretty smooth schedule for me if I was going, outside of the partial TWY/TSL overlap.
Ok here's my hypothetical schedule: Daisy Grenade for a few minutes The Forecast Underoath Dashboard Thursday The Starting Line Armor For Sleep Jimmy Eat World that is all. the main overlap issue i'd have is Motion City and Armor For Sleep, but I'd choose Armor since I've seen MCS play that album at least twice.
So 2023 was the year for me but oddly more conflicts for me in 2024 (because there's no 1 or 2 bands I have to see) I'd get drunk and choose Millionaires 3oh3 Thursday Saves the day Simple plan Tbs Used (sorry motion city) Bayside Hawthorne heights Nfg Hey Monday (I'll skip fall out boy) And would I have the guts to pick nada surf over my Chem? Honestly maybe. By that point I don't have confidence i can get into the my Chem pit so I might pick the least resistance route.
That's how it was last year for the side stages (though not everyone used their full time). Main stages alternate so no overlap there, expect them to end shortly before the next main stage band starts.
I made a clashfinder if any one needs it. I left 5 minutes between each band on the smaller stages. If it doesnt load properly, just hit refresh When We Were Young 2024
