I should bring back AP.net just to drop all the tea I've heard about the drama of this festival, go wild for three weeks, and then retire off the internet forever.
Something tells me Chiodos but they I think didn’t reunite and it’s just Craig and hired guns for that set
Confirming it's just Craig performing under the Chiodos name at WWWY and on the Emo's Not Dead cruise. Not sure who the band will be, wouldn't shock me if it was the D.R.U.G.S. lineup since they're playing shows anyway (they were in Anaheim last night).
so it sounds like the bands are no longer obligated to perform the full albums? i wonder how many bands are gonna go rogue now and just play a regular set. and i wonder what the percentages will be of relieved fans vs pissed off fans who will inevitably call the festival a "shit show" for "false advertising." cuz you know that shit will happen haha.
If bands already rehearsed the set with the full album, I hope most of them do it (at least the ones I want to hear in full lol)
I mean, it would 100% be false advertising which is why they’ve probably stood their ground on the matter.
Well, as someone who bought a ticket to this festival specifically to hear one of the bands perform a specific album, I'm hoping they still do haha
"Weighing retirement" at the age of 40 after a "10-year run." Man, I really got into the wrong line of work.
I don't get why a band would push back on an album play? Especially a band like all American rejects who aren't really active anymore. They rarely play or tour or make new music that makes any waves....and it's not as if they come off as some artistic values band where they're "over their old material". Don't get it
Probably not rehearsed, also for most of these bands, I think their sets will go over better with a more varied set unless they have, like, one album that towers above the rest of their discography.
