Thursday doing “Full Collapse” instead of “WATT” seems odd, I’d rather have Senses Fail do “Let It Enfold You”.
The Maine doing their debut album is really odd for me. Their first 4 albums are incredibly forgettable while their next 5 were all amazing.
I'm assuming a few weeks after this year's if there is one next year, I wonder what bands are returning next year and if they are going to continue doing these album playthroughs. Fingers crossed for Thrice performing Vheissu.
For this festival, CSWS makes sense. They've only played it live in full once & vowed to never do it again, so I'm super excited for it. But I also wouldn't be mad if they played any of their albums in full
I really like Alesana (The Emptiness being my favorite as well but the two other earlier albums are great) and they’re a top 3 show for me so you’re not alone!
The Wonder Years doing "The Greatest Generation". They just did a tour for that album last year, and I feel like it doesn't have as many well-remembered songs as "Suburbia". I also wish : -Tonight Alive did "What Are You So Scared Of?" instead of "The Other Side" -NFG did "Catalyst" instead of "Sticks & Stones" -All-American Rejects did "Move Along" instead of Self-Titled On another note, I'm curious what Dance Gavin Dance will do now that Tilian's out of the band. They mentioned doing a "unique" set, which makes me think they're stepping away from the plan to do Mothership. It'd be cool if they brought back Kurt, but it'd be significantly less cool if they brought back Jonny Craig.
I'm excited for There, there, passing through a screen door, and the devil in my bloodstream. The way Dance gavin dance worded it as a unique set makes me curious if they'll bring out different guest vocalists
Side show announcement: 10/18 at The Strat. “emo pool party” with Hawthorne Heights, Armor For Sleep, Emery, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and New Aesthetic.
What I feared about coming on Friday… flight doesn’t get in until 4:50. Probably should just chill and rest for the weekend anyway
I need the official sideshows asap. Between the pool party and Knocked Loose, I need to know the rest to choose wisely
I'm going to LTJ on Friday (unless something crazy pops up) but if I wasn't I would definitely hit the KL show
Im tempted to buy tickets for KL, but Im afraid they will announce something cool with bands I havent seen the same day. In 2023 sideshows were announced on August 14 and in 2022 on August 8, so hopefully this week!
HOB Vegas seems like a REALLY small venue for that show. Something Corporate was there last year and from the balcony, you're right on top of the stage.
