We Are The In Crowd, Tonight Alive, and Hey Monday being added to this now makes me extremely upset I can’t go.
MCR-The Black Parade JEW-Bleed American Saosin-Saosin (assuming it’s with Cove) Silverstein-Discovering the Waterfront Story of the Year-Page Avenue
Hold up where are you seeing this? Lights would be a great addition, although if I had my choice I'd have her doing Siberia.
Neck Deep - Life's Not Out To Get You Silverstein - Discovering The Waterfront Sleeping With Sirens - Let's Cheers To This A Day To Remember - Homesick State Champs - The Finer Things
Blame uhhh AI or something!! I also would prefer Siberia but I think The Listening fits the fest more
That's the bad thing about it being only 1 day. It's guaranteed that some of the bands I want to see I will be unable to due to conflicting time slots. For $325 plus travel I wish there could be a way to see every band I want to see.
Tickets go on-sale at 10 AM PST. I'm going to just focus on getting flights first and worry about a ticket closer to the show since life happens and people offload them.
I wonder how much money is throwing around to get all of these bands added on no notice and a few of them don’t play shows anymore. It’s a total PR move as I doubt any of these bands will get anyone to go that wasn’t already going. Kind of surprising to see them actually respond as this scene could usually care less about criticisms like this and the era that this is aimed at was incredibly male dominated. It’s not like they have a huge crop of bands to choose from.
I also find it interesting this is the year they decided to add more bands and address the criticism, because I remember this year's lineup getting the same amount of backlash on that front and nothing was done?
I think the running theory is that some of these bands were already on-board, but they were planning to gradually announce them as surprises, then expedited the announcements due to backlash.
I checked for flights from here in the UK to Las Vegas. That alone, before factoring in ticket costs, accommodation, food, water, etc. would cost me £700 (approx $872). So, it looks like it'll just remain a dream for me. :(
For me it's looking to be around $600 for a round trip as well, not including hotel fees. RIP They really need to look into having multiple dates that would be in multiple locations, but I know getting all these bands together is almost impossible, let alone trying to get them all together on multiple days.
It would be extraordinarily funny if the plan was to save them all for a themed announcement on International Women's Day or something.
there is a less than 0% chance the plan all along was to announce all the 'male-centered' bands and then slowly announce the more diversified participants lol they heard the complaints, and they rightfully took some action. it can be that simple.
And as for the reunions, money talks, and it's very clear this festival has money to throw around. And none of these are like truly crazy reunions
