It matters who closes for me as there ain't no way in hell I'm staying till the end. With the traffic from the formula one construction, and it being so far up on the strip, I'm catching 2-3 songs of the headliner and then heading back down the strip on the monorail. I'm hoping it's Green Day headlining as I'd like to see Blink. Even if Blink headlines, I'm not staying till the end (had friends that took them hours to get back down the strip last time).

just an FYI, there was no traffic issues after SNW after the headliners. Not sure what happened at WWWY last year.

  3. I walked back to Caesars last year. Took 35-40 mins. Wasn't too bad.

Did the same. No issues getting out after MCR wrapped up

Monorail is a great solution for getting there and back afterwards.

I'm down at Excalibur. An hour - 90 min walk easily. I may rethink day of especially if Blink is headlining. I *gasp* am not a huge green day fan so it'll be an easy choice to skip their set for getting back easier.

Last year was really well run. Hoping for the same amount of food and drinks and lack of lines. The fest was packed, but getting a drink or food was easy all day long.

The thought of walking for 90 minutes after a full day of jumping around atva music festival makes my everything hurt

  8. Yeah excalibur is really far. Caesars is probably the furthest id consider walking. Staying at treasure Island this year to be 10 mins closer lol.

Why are you guys walking back? You can goto any taxi stand at a hotel and get a cab immediately

Yea, I like that end of the strip though. I get to ride the new york coaster a dozen times and my friends have a suite at the luxor as well for hanging (though they're not going to the festival). Cheaper casino games too for the most part (though it gets cheaper again up by treasure island circus circus. Middle of the strip is all $$).

I'm excited. I'm there Thurs - Late Monday night.

I ducked out so this is all 2nd hand, but I heard it was basically gridlock and ubers and cabs weren't keeping up with demand and it was just slow to get out of there. Plus you know, good for your health to walk a little.

    Things have changed.

Green Day is headlining. They were booked to play last and they will be playing last.

WOW I definitely don't remember that Blink/Sevendust show but young me (and current me) would've loved that odd pairing. Felt like I was the only kid who liked both pop punk AND nu-metal growing up. At DFP 6 I was certainly the only person in the crowd going nuts for both New Found Glory and System of a Down.

Ubers even getting in had to drop us off like 5 mins out. No one wanted to deal with the actual dropoff/pickup points

I love when people say matter of fact things when they have just as much info as we all do.

I do think GD would still try to play last because of egos.

  17. Since I'm going Sunday, at like noon on Sat I might peep stubhub to see if anyone is desperate and selling tickets for like 75 bucks for ga.

You and me both. The other odd Low Dough Show pairing was Cold and New Found Glory at Irving Plaza. Can't imaginae those two fanbases got along well. That being said, I feel like there are more Warped Tour/Ozzfest people than we realize. There could be a Sick New When We Were Young World combo that they do in Vegas in 2025, combining the best of both worlds.

So for what it’s worth The Ataris on social media are hinting they play first set of the day, while the leak has them in the middle. I’m sure with the tier 3/4 level bands the times are more fluid up until things are released but if true that doesn’t give confidence in the leaked schedule.

I feel confident in saying the leak was bogus.

Ataris is a quintessential opener for these festivals i love it. Starting the day with Sam Dimas? Do it.

A wonderful website that helps you navigate sets at festivals. Makes it much easier to see the schedule and find your best route for it.
