Roundtrip from Buffalo to Vegas right now, cheapest flight is $700. I can legit fly to London cheaper than Vegas.

Well I mean haha what do you want us to say. This thing was announced last October and the show isn't until this October. Full line up announced all at once so no speculation.

Its going to be great. I'm going to be exhausted and I hope a few people will help me out in some of the pits. I can't orchestrate for 12 hours straight lol

I've been waiting forverr for the flights to change. I've had the option for a cheap flight Friday for the longest time but it gets me there at like midnight the day before. I don't want that. I want to hang for the day a bit.

Southwest had a great sale a month ago that I stupidly balked on

Which higher billed band will draw a dismal crowd? Thirty Seconds To Mars or The Offspring? Be hilarious if they went up against each other.

The Offspring always draw good crowds at fests

Yeah they just feel out of place at this given they usually play butt-rock festivals but I suppose if there isn't significant alternative programming they'll draw a strong crowd

I’d think 30 Seconds to Mars easily. They kind of stick out like a sore thumb on this lineup lol

They embarrassingly attempted an arena tour in North America in 2018. Was a shitshow ticket sales-wise.

  10. They will both me main stage bands I think. Good excuse to go to the other stages when they play.

Offspring absolutely fits the fest and will have a good crowd

I think MCR & Paramore, who at the time the fest was announced hadn’t played a show in years, made a bigger splash as headliner hype.

Also this fest sold out in like an hour. Not sure you need to hype it again until a month out

Yeah. I mean this entire fest is built for 30yos+++. How are the offspring not gonna draw? Are there green day, blink, nfg fans that don't also like offspring?

Rise against are there too so.

Think I'm just used to the communities around the traditional fests (Lolla, Bonnaroo, Coachella, etc). Haven't seen mock schedules or anything like that, maybe its just a different demographic for a fest like this? Us festival nerds are hardcore ha.

Does anyone have any plans for Vegas outside the festival? Gamblers? Drinking at the pool? Punk rock museum? Etc

  18. I recommend the meow wolf installation. Went last year, was cool.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

    Very true.

I'm not interested in this line up compared to last year. It felt like that had more bands that I hadn't seen live in a while.

Less than a handful this year and even then I'm hoping 1 or 2 play a So Cal date before or after the fest

I haven’t bought flights or rooms or tickets yet. Only band I ~need~ to see is the SOCO reunion.

Maybe because the hype and doom and gloom about it being fyre fest 2.0 died and people actually know it'll be a legit fest and are holding on to their ticket. The 'its too good to be true so I'm gonna make a quick buck of it' vibe is gone.

Vegas has got really expensive over the years for flights, and depending on where you are, there's a lack of non-stops. I got stupid flights because of it. East coast flight that gets into vegas at 10pm (1am body clock time) is a rough start, and then I have a red eye out that gets me back to the east coast at 555AM (all to save a few hundred bucks). But if there's one thing I can do in Vegas, it's party on and power through. I'll be there 4 nights and almost a 5th with how late the flight leaves and I can't wait.

don’t look at the hotel prices…they’re obscene for that weekend.

I spent like 250 a night last year for circus circus… i’m not expecting anything to be cheap lmao

thats insane for a glorified Red Roof quality hotel. I’m paying close to $600/night at Caesars for this year, almost $2k for 3 nights after tax. Really hoping I either win some money or gamble enough to get some of it compd.
