Wonder if it’s cheaper just to buy a festival ticket and book hotel separately

Who do y'all think will have a bigger crowd? Green Day or Blink-182? My money is on Blink-182 playing first and having the bigger draw but Green Day putting on the better show.

blink 100% has a bigger draw right now now

I give Blink the slight edge simply because it's their reunion tour, plus the fact that after a 12 hour day people are gonna be wiped and wanna go home lol.

If I do end up going to this, I definitely just plan on watching a few GD songs from the back of the crowd and then peacing out.

Blink is the bigger draw by a long shot. But they're smart enough to know going on after Green Day would be embarrassing for them.

So them going on first and knowing a bunch of people will likely leave after them... Is a good idea.

A bunch of people aren't gonna leave after blink especially with Green Day starting the second blink walks off the stage.

It was mobbed last year & a decent amount of people showed up later in the day as opposed to the 11am doors.

Agreed, but Green Day will likely have a new album out by then too so depending on how that does, could be a toss up. They’ll both have massive crowds though

Yeah I’m kinda 50/50 on this. On one hand, I still feel like Green Day is the “bigger” band of the two, and will have a massive crowd regardless. On the other hand, there’s tons of hype around the Blink tour since Tom’s back. Either way, people love nostalgia. I could see it going either way

I think Blink-182's ticket draw this year is probably more than Green Day. I remember their 2009 tour during better than Green Day's 2009 tour (though to be fair Blink had more heavy-hitter openers). Outside the US, Green Day is significantly bigger.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

It probably depends on the set that GD goes with. It could keep people there but I doubt the crowd will die out THAT much.

This is true too. If they go a more old-school route, then I’m sure a lot of people would stick around. But if it’s a greatest hits set like Hella Mega was, I think more people would dip

Their entire festival set is "old-school" at this point, as there is no song played from the past 10-12 years.

For sure, but VIP was sold out and I don't want to pay out the ass on the resale market for them so I bit the bullet with the travel package.

I left early last year and dont regret it especially since i had to get the monorail back down the strip. Ill be happy to skip most of green day and do the same. Its a long way (walk) and it was mad crowded and we were in among the early birds. Same plan this year unless spur of the moment events give me other ideas.

I got my flight booked for a decent price but have a red eye out. Its basically a bonus day without the hotel cost and by far my cheapest flight.

I did the exact same thing last year. Missed most of Paramore but getting out of there was a breeze, cheap Uber which came immediately, no traffic, I’d do the same again this time around.

The only benefit of staying at circus circus was being able to stumble out after MCR and being in bed in 15 minutes

  25. Staying at treasure island this year. 10 mins closer lol.
