Edit; I’m going next Saturday but I’m just happy for everyone today haha

 

So pumped! Barely slept last night but I can power through. Getting ready to leave from the south strip and taking the monorail

 

People looking for face value tickets: maybe try Cash or Trade?

 

In the past 20 mins I've seen single tickets fluctuating for $400-850

 

I will be unfollowing this thread now that I'm out of Vegas as I'm still really bummed (and poorer lol) but stoked it's happening today as expected and happy for everyone going

 

It seems Black Stage is GA but there is a division in the middle to avoid crowdsurge, according to my friend who is in there

 

Waiting in line, pretty sure we're still in Vegas, but not certain

 

Getting in was bad but everything else seems fine as of now

 

Is the whole pink stage VIP only? Saw a post on Reddit. Seems pretty weird that an entire stage would be blocked off for VIP..?

(I'm not going, just curious!)

 

Watching Saosin right now and their performance is rad but the sound is ass

Originally it was both the front of Black and Pink, people complained and they made Black GA but Pink is still VIP

 

I think the complaints are exaggerated. You can still see everything beyond the VIP area. But I'm old and don't need to be up front.

 

People just want to complain about everything: that they had to wait more than 5 minutes to get in, that the festival wouldn't let an additional 60-80,000 people attend today's event, that there are set time conflicts, that they can't be front row for every band they wanna see.

 

The confusing thing is there's a barrier between just normal viewing and the pit at the black stage. There's a pit entrance off to the side that isn't obvious so people make their way up and run into a barrier and are like what the fuck lol.

 

Transition from black stage to stripe is rough lol

So is the pink stage really blocked off for only VIP?

 

I love all the people that for some reason thought they could show up 1-2 and walk right in... its been obvious that getting in was going to be rough. Better to be there 2-3 hours early and not miss anyone than show up later and wait in line 2-3 hours and miss a bunch of bands

 

Haven't seen a bathroom but I know they are here lol.
