Holy shit people on the internet saying stuff like “called it. Knew this festival was bullshit” and such.
Yeah that's wild take - like... damn, ya'll some extreme meteorologists or something to call this happening that far out.
I guess it just shows how willing people are to give their take on something they have zero understanding of! No surprise, I guess. But just embarrassing for them.
I really hope today goes off without a hitch though, for attendees and just festival haters of this to eat crow.
Its weird how badly people want this festival to fail simply because of how oddly it was originally announced lol
Went to All American Rejects show last night. Was a blast but getting in was a shit show. People that showed up last minute tried to cut the line. You needed to queue to get a wristband to get in and people started faking the wristbands. So much hostility and so many annoying drunks. Once I got in, it was much better
It was 12 songs. I ended up getting their setlist from the stage. 11 songs written but 12 were played. I Wanna was not written on it Edit: I updated it
Katy Perry was shouting out Warped and all the kids from WWWY who were at her residency show last night
This weekend is already so legendary. Wild to see so many fucking insane things happen in a span of 24 hours with so many bands in such a small location.
TV show idea: drop 50 bands into one city and give them 24 hours to find a venue and play a show. The emo-zing race.
Yeah cuz this is safe for an outdoor festival: https://instagram.com/stories/takin...ource=ig_story_item_share&igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Looks like my flight home later today is full and so they’re giving vouchers for people to take a different flight. Can you imagine if I could find a WWWY ticket for today for less than a billion dollars??? Haha oh well.
Saw some for next weekend at $150 earlier this morning and I’m really considering it if the price drops again after the bullshit that yesterday was
They're gonna be real quiet by about 5 pm today, weather here looks beautiful this morning. So bummed I couldnt get a ticket and am flying home
Saaaame. My only hang up was I didn’t want to have to buy a new plane ticket and look for a new hotel for tonight, but now that my original flight is looking for people to hang back, I’m like “shittt…”
One thing I learned years ago from working at the United center in Chicago is to never buy tickets off of Reddit/twitter/Craigslist. 99.9% of the time the tickets where fake. People would be so upset. I only buy tickets from StubHub/Ticketmaster resale on the secondary market. Only places the tickets are guaranteed to be real or you get your money back
Made it to Vegas, now just gotta drop my stuff at a friends and make it down to the festival grounds!
