Blighttown in Dark Souls is a major pain. The area is just a poisonous swamp with a terrible frame rate.
Oh man the hours of veteran on COD4/WAW/MW2. I just keep thinking of the Estate mission in MW2 when you have to run to the extraction point after downloading the data. Getting shot at from all sides with no cover was a nightmare.
and Valley of Defilement in Demons Souls, and Farron Keep in Dark Souls 3. That series just loves slow going poison swamps and they are consistently the worst levels in those games haha
Starfox Adventures has this horrible "test of strength" button mashing segment. I'd love to replay the game but I know I'd end up rage-quitting at that part.
Speaking of water levels, there was this great Sega game with X-men and Spiderman and the Storm level underwater was impossible. The whole thing was way too difficult. I don't think my brother or I ever beat that game.
I was so good at every GTA mission, even the driving ones. My brother would ask me to complete his missions.
The only driving mission in GTA that killed me is the Malibu club asset mission The Driver. So damn diffucult.
I only beat that mission fairly once. I would get a high wanted level before the mission started and try to get the cops to blow out Hilary's tires. I could always switch cars if they got me.
OH FUCK ME I hated that shit. I was never able to do it until I read somewhere the best way to do it was to use a pen and, like, rub the shaft back and forth over the button. As soon as I stopped giggling at the phrase "rub the shaft on the button" 'cause I was like 11* I nailed that bullshit after one try. *who am I kidding, I'm in my 20s and it still makes me laugh. I'm a tragedy.
