They've definitely been hilarious so far. Glad to see them go out on a high note at least, but I'm definitely going to miss it
Yeah I just queued up the 3 on Hulu and it's bizarre thinking how far it's come from being a spinoff of the movie....I didn't think they'd be able to replicate the humor from that into the TV format but goddamm they NAILED it.
I have to regularly remind myself that this series is a spinoff, I loved the movie but the show is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of WWDITS as a whole now.
If I ask myself what I think will have the longer legacy between the two, it's super easily the show. Bless Taika for creating the franchise as a whole, it's a shining spot in the comedy genre. Also out of the 3 episodes so far ep3 is BY FAR my favorite. Sleep hypnosis hahahaha. The ending was just perfect!
Well yeah duh! Love this show. Fans of 'What We Do in the Shadows' Should Absolutely Watch This Cult Horror Comedy
I agree 100% with berry , no one wants to overstay their welcome What We Do In The Shadows' Matt Berry Explains Why He's Ready For The Show To End: 'Six Seasons Is A Long Time'
Finally got the chance to start the season today. Premiere was super interesting because for this whole show I've wondered why all of the vampires were okay with the human camera crew filming them lol so to see them actually acknowledge that was cool. I hope they don't drop that thread Sleep Hypnosis was hilarious and it was also nice to get unexpected Tim Heidecker
Finally caught up on the new season, it’s so good. I’m gona be sad to see it go but glad it’s not overstaying its welcome
2nd to last episode was incredible. Hilarious and genuinely well done action. Amazing cameo at the end too.
Taika Waititi says “What We Do in the Shadows” has gone on 'far too long': 'Feels like this is a 5-minute idea'
I was wary when they announced they were going to turn it into a show because I love the movie so much. But it has been great Also I was unaware until just now that the new season had started
Man the finale was a fine ep but really didn’t feel like a finale. Episode 9 was more appropriate as that.
Next week is actually the finale. I assumed it was this week too and was disappointed that’s how it seemed to end, but then checked IMDB and there’s thankfully one more episode.
Oh, phew. I had the same concern haha it was a good episode but definitely didn't feel like a finale to me
Man the reveal that nandor actually built the bat cave after inviting Guillermo into his coffin was so good lol gonna miss this show man
Ngl I thought that was a very underwhelming episode other than the lair being real. That I audibly laughed at
