Finally caught the first three episodes since I went on vacation right when the season was starting. Starting with S3 when Clement left, the show has become a lot more... broad than it was the first two seasons. It's still hilarious for the most part but every once in a while it takes some big swings that don't really land for me, while the first two were just amazingly dry and subtly hilarious while still having that stuff too. It's just kind of something I've noticed, I do still really love the show
Haven't caught the latest episode yet, but I really hope the baby Colin bit is over by now? That started getting old very quickly in the first episode
Night Market probably got the most laughs out of me this season, strictly for the Nandor and Guillermo scenes lol. Nandor really selling the fight by describing Guillermo as his "closest companion of X years" or whatever just had me dying
have they ever explained why 90% of other vampires look like Nosferatu, but the mains just look like regular humans? I assumed it was because they were relatively “young” vampires at first, but Nandor is almost 800 years old. the Baron had another 200 years on him, but looks wayyy more vampiric.
Just started this on Friday and already blitzed through the first season.. this show is so fucking funny. I need to watch the movie. Kinda wanna stop and save the next three season for sept/oct fall and Halloween time. I haven’t laughed this often or hard at a show in a while.. Nadja finding Gregor and taking flash photography of him jerking off had me tearing up. Not to mention Colin and Evie. So good.
The show started off dry like the movie but it's really veered away from that in the last two seasons. To mixed results imo
I adore this show, but have been lukewarm on the current season. That said - the headmaster interview episode is an all-timer. Looks like it would have been a blast to write.
Yeah I’m not in love with this season like I was the first 3. Still one of the better shows on tv though
