Funeral for a Friend, The Rapture, Von Bondies, Franz Ferdinand in February 2004. The billing was in that order (Franz Ferdinand opened).
Green Day in Albany, NY in 2005. Small up and coming band named MCR opened, not sure if they've done anything since.
My first concert was dedicated to the music of the 80-90s, it was held in the UK, it was very cool. I never thought that the music of the past is so delightful. We went there at 4. My friends are big fans of this music and invited me to relax and get to know these creations better. It was especially cool in the evening, there was a lot of light, great music, and a starry sky. My friends and I went there for a few days and it was the best stay in recent years. It is especially worth noting the work of outdoorstages.co.uk, which was engaged in the design and preparation of the stage and all the equipment. We can say that thanks to them it turned out to create such a pleasant atmosphere and have a good time.
First concert I ever attended was Slayer back in 2019 and it was everything I wanted it to be. Still the only one I've been to so far. Ugh, I hope I can experience this again soon...
Pop Disaster Tour with Blink-182, Green Day, and Saves the Day. Memorial Day Weekend 2002. Man, I’m old.
Well, cheers to having seen it all in the scene over the past 20 years. That’s something cool at least. And BSB were about as big as it got back in ‘01 so that’s a memorable first.
Bring Me The Horizon/‘68/Silver Snakes on May 7th, 2016 at The NorVA in Norfolk, Virginia. Absolutely wonderful show :)
Offspring, Lit, Dickies. 1999. Jones Beach, ny I had a choice between offspring and barenaked ladies and I chose offspring. I wonder if my music life would be different if I chose Barenaked ladies instead of seeing how much fun a punk show was
Hanson on the Middle of Nowhere tour, summer of 1998. After that, Our Lady Peace some 3 years later. Concerts didn't become a regular thing for me until a couple years later. I'd say seeing Green Day/New Found Glory/Sugarcult on the first leg of the American Idiot tour in October of 2004 during my freshman year of high school is what really kicked things off.
I was at the show. One of the rare times they played "Pay The Man" live. Still the biggest headlining show The Offspring has done in the NYC area to this day.
First concert was July 1, 2001 with my dad and older brother at the CSU Convocation Center, now called the Wolstein Center. The lineup in order was: Morbid Angel Skrape Static-X Slayer Pantera This was part of the Reinventing the Steel support run. I could be wrong, but I think it ended up being the final Pantera tour.
Metallica at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1993 Supported by Megadeth, The Almighty (Who replaced Alice in Chains ) and Diamond Head
My first concert proper was *NSYNC “No Strings Attached” Tour with P!nk opening. my first SHOW was a local show my band played in NH with This Is Revenge (Drummer for Our Last Night) and a bunch of locals. my first show I didn’t play was xDeath Starx, War Of Ages, Across Five Aprils but I missed XDSX because my friend had to straighten his hair.
