I was looking at Kacey Musgraves tix for me and my wife but couldn’t justify the $400 for mediocre seats to an artist I like but don’t really love. How do you people go to so many of these awesome shows?!?! Jealous
Yeah I’ve decided to hold back on shows this year just because of how expensive they’re getting. And I plan to for the foreseeable future. I really only plan on either seeing bands I like that I’ve never seen before, or bands that I like, really love. I’m still happy with what’ve been able to see this year, but it’s a bummer
Joy Valence and Brae 07/26 Otoboke Beaver 08/02 The Get Up Kids 08/09 Austin TV 09/19 Metallica 09/20 Metallica 09/22 Fall Out Boy w/ Jimmy Eat World 09/25 Metallica 09/27 Green Day 09/28 Metallica 09/29 When We Were Young 10/19 Air w/ Slowdive 11/02 Paul McCartney 11/09 Corona Capital 11/15-11/17 Iron Maiden 11/20 Movements 11/21 Most of these are in CDMX with the exception of Green Day and WWWY
Shows are definitely expensive, but there are workarounds. Local street teams, working gigs, keeping an eye on Groupons/LiveNation sales, etc, are a big part of what makes it work. Not having kids helps a LOT too, ngl.

The next few months are crazy busy for me work wise, so I don’t have anything until January, but so far for next year I’ve got: 1/28 - Sum 41 1/30 - Sum 41 3/23 - Refused
Did not make it to Mk.gee, very bummed I missed that. Silver Spring was too far from where I was staying. Skipped Basement to stay with co-workers. Kings of Leon & Hippo Campus were fun. The Anthem in DC is an amazing venue. Designed perfectly in my opinion. I have Covid :( I’m going to miss my two most anticipated shows of the year. Post Malone at our ‘country’ venue & ToP in their hometown.
