What Noteworthy Broken Up Bands/Acts Have Yet To Reunite?

Considering the ongoing trend of noteworthy broken up band/acts are reuniting for tours or fests, what big/significant acts are left that have yet to reunite? I have a few that come to mind:

-Botch
-Minor Threat
-The Smiths

Jawbreaker- I think it'll happen within 1-2 years.
Oasis- Within the next 5 years.
The Format- Next 1-2 years.
The Weakerthans- Next 2-3 years.
My Chemical Romance- Next 2-3 years.

 

I'm surprised The Format haven't done that already to be honest, they'd make bank doing a tour.

Valid point. Wild to think just how much time has passed since Some Nights was released, it feels like yesterday.

 

Couldn't think of one until someone said Talking Heads. Now that's my answer.

 

Pretty sure the rest of the band is game for it, David is just the lone hold out who doesn't want to do anything with it. Maybe David one day will loosen up and let that happen.

 

Too bad The Smiths won't happen...

Man, I really want a Sonic Youth reunion to happen. Like obviously, I'd want Thurston and Kim to make peace with each other first but that would be amazing to see happen.

 

Surprised 18V hasn't happened already to begin with, it's not like Burning Halos is setting the world on fire. Then again, would people really be into that if they did?

 

I don't know if they'd have the draw for a full tour, but they have enough of a cult following with old school Metalcore fans to be a decent draw at Wrecking Ball or Amnesia Rockfest.

Skate And Surf would probably be all over it too

 

Yeah, they'd be better off as a fest thing if that was to happen.

 

I saw a show one time - years ago - Debbie Harry, Tom Tom Club, and umm.... Jerry Harrison. I would like the think that the 3 members of Talking Heads got on stage to play together - but I forget now :) wow. I guess the ramones were there too. makes sense (it HAS been a long time) - I googled, and found this:

Since Talking Heads were already mentioned, Rilo Kiley is my answer. I'd love to see them reunite and play their older stuff.

There's nothing I want more than a Jawbreaker reunion. Also hoping for an R.E.M. tour in the future.
