Bad combo.

 

Can’t believe this album is almost 12 years old. Some albums are just sonic time capsules and this is one of them for me. I can put it on and instantly be transported to like freshman/sophomore year of high school at my buddies music studio in Oakland where we’d chill and smoke hookah. Ugh. Weird to think I’ll never have that again.

@Larry David That Rolo Tomassi album was very enjoyable! I had seen people discussing it so I wasn't caught off guard when the third track kicked in, but otherwise I would have been! I can see why it wouldn't be for everything, but I thought it was pretty great and I'll be returning to it. My favorite track on first listen was Whispers Among Us.

I had never heard of them before and probably wouldn't have checked it out if I hadn't seen the discussion in here about them.

I couldnt get into that album when i played it. Maybe I just wasnt in the right mood for it when i played it i dont know.

 

Happy birthday to The Bends who turned 23 years old yesterday. I had not seen this limited edition cover before which was approved by the band themselves actually.

I do not like work at all.

at least I'm taking a few days off starting tomorrow since my sister is coming into town.

 

We have been getting so much goddamn snow in the last few days basically non stop and it feels like we're right back in the middle of winter again not close to spring. Also didnt sleep enough so not equipped to handle work right now. Feeling down and the day has just started. Gonna be a long one :(

Yeah haven't listened to it yet tho. At this point they should just release the whole record I mean its already half out now. Seems kinda silly to me. I may actually hold off and just listen to it on Friday since I've already overplayed the other songs.

 

They said they wanted to release a ton of singles for this album ha, I don’t fully get it but only a few more days I guess
