Not really. It can sometimes get heated. Just being willing to listen goes a long way.

That was the only thread I posted in until the sci-fi thread.

I'm really only active in this one and that one still.

 

that thread can get pretty intimidating; my political views generally line up pretty well the thread consensuses but the depth to which some of the posters know their stuff is crazy.

 

Every two posts seems to be someone posting a tweet. Might get old with me. Think thats why i never posted much in it. Everytime i go in it i dont always see actual post on the page im on

 

I prefer posting in the elitist emo thread about emo-pop bands i dont even really like just to stir the pot of the emo purists

 

Yeah Same with me. Alot of stuff goes over my head. I try to learn what I can but I'm not informed enough to contribute often.

Its a good thread though.

 

Yeah that's a common critique of that thread. I don't know I like the tweets usually but I can see why it gets annoying

But I do wish they let us talk about emo Bands that fall under the whole umbrella of the sub genre

 

I dont mind it but i will say everytime i go in that thread or any other thread for that matter, i'm reminded just how truly special what we have here is. I mean since the Sci Fi thread, then the Movielife thread and now this one. I'm very grateful that we have been able to keep it going and hope it keeps going and everyone sticks around for a long time. #attitudeofgratitude
