I'm listening to the new Editors album. It has some post-punk vibes, @Colin Your Enthusiasm but also some cool electronic elements that make it more interesting than I usually find that genre.

 

I want you to listen to it before two weeks!

 

To all NBA fans... how does it feel knowing you don’t have the GOAT Donovan Mitchell on your team?

 

Oh yeah that one came out last Friday. I thought their first few records were decent especially An end has a start but haven't listened to anything by them since that one so 2007. Might check out the new one we'll see.

One band I no longer have an interest for is Moose Blood that also came out last Friday.

according to RYM the new Editors is primary genres

Synthpop, Alternative Rock

secondary genres

Post-Punk Revival, New Wave, Darkwave

 

It's not what I would consider synthpop to be, but I guess with the electronic elements it's not that far off.

 

The great thing is if you don't agree on that site it's a voting system for the genres so it goes with what the general consensus is and since it's still quite new it will prob still change a bit. I'll prob not check it out. Rating and reviews for it weren't too great.

Btw I gave you a follow. You should feel honored. I should of put that EP on but instead went for Ski by Caravela while I work.

 

@littlejohn because of you now I kinda feel like changing my username to ColinTheRecommender but it wouldn't be any shorter than my current one so that would defeat the purpose of changing it lol
