I'm not in a good mood. I blame Monday.

 

Before Underoath I was listening to The Bled - Silent Treatment but switched to UO instead. Not normally my go to stuff but this type of music fits with my mood at the moment.

 

listen to United Nations Self titled. one of my goto albums in certain moods.

 

I was at a party and the guy who hosted it turned off the power at midnight as a joke (I found it pretty funny!)

Ok I might check that one out after. One of my go to albums when feeling like this used to be Daisy. Now not so much :(
I was maybe going to spin You Are We by While She Sleeps. Melodic metalcore/post-hardcore which would also fit the bill nicely right now we'll see.

 

I might end up going for Songs of Praise by Shame. Still haven't heard it all. Almost bought it on vinyl this wknd in Toronto but decided not to. Limited sky blue variant did make it very tempting.

It was #fakenews before hashtags and "fake news" were a thing.

 

People thought that their zippers that said Y2K on them would stop working. This is a joke that my mom actually told me in 1999. I was convinced that she was right for a minute. Crazy what good storytelling/setup/comedic timing can do. It's all in the delivery.

the last time I listened to daisy was during yard work the morning the news all broke.

 

I listened to SF yesterday on the train. I guess that makes me a pariah on here now?
