If you like aggressive mwY their first album is definitely for you. All of their albums are pretty unique (in my opinion)

 

Nice And Blue Pt. 2

I wonder how Part 1 sounded. This one was pretty cool. I like the guitars, again. Each of these songs sounds vastly different so far and I can appreciate that. I actually really like the "I was once the wine, I was once the wine and you were the wine glass" chant in the background. Adds a sort of ambiance and dread to the song with its fast paced yet dreary sound. And then when it comes back by itself at the end of the song, Its great.

 

Part 1 is on their first album :)

 

The spider tracks def hinted at what they would do on their next album. mwY is one of my favorite bands musically speaking.

 

The Sun And The Moon
Again another song that kind of sounds like...that other band. This again, sounds much different than anything else on this album. Its kind of an odd song, and its actually kind of a creepy song when you listen to it. The lyrics are well grounded in lore and they paint a dark image in your mind when you listen. Musically this one isn't as wild as the last few have been, with a more laid back sound but some nice drums. The outro to this song is cool. Although a bit repetitive.

 

Orange Spider
Another spider track! Wait did I hear him start laughing in the middle of the song? He started laughing! Hah. Again, neat little interlude that I'm sure @bachna84 will be using for bath time music.

C-Minor
These guys are very different with each song. I really like that, each of these songs sounds so much different than the last one, and these songs don't follow the typical song formula. This one is no different. This one almost sounds like it should be in some sort of stage play, and I respect that a lot. Especially for the last minute and a half of the song. Things just get really crazy for this little bit, and its awesome.

 

It’s hard to believe that the same group released A->B Life and It’s All Crazy!

 

In A Market Dimly Lit

I think this was the first track I didn't really care for. It was ok, but I zoned out a bit during it and it felt like it kind of dragged on. The outro is pretty sick, but I didn't like the rest of the song

O, Porcupine
That intro....Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. That was a sweet intro riff, I like this. This was a good song, and had some cool lyrical themes within it. Again, superb song writing and musical workings for this song. These guys are bizarre and varied, and their lyrical tones are dark and twisted when you listen close though with his speak sing method youd never guess it. This song has that in spades, along with these cool echoing break downs of self loathing. This song is a good recovery from the sub-par previous track.

 

He was on The Dryness and the Rain too

 

Brownish Spider

More bathtime spider music! These are actually pretty cool little interludes. This album plays like the soundtrack to a play, and these seem to be the intermissions almost.

Doing quite a bit better today! My dad watched him today and we’re hoping he can return to daycare tomorrow. He still has diaper rash but it’s not quite as bad as yesterday! I stopped at the grocery store after work and picked him up some yogurt with probiotics, so we’ll see if that helps. These antibiotics are tough on kids!!
