Messes Of Men

wtf was with that speaking part at the beginning?! LOL. After a minute of...that...this song kicks into gear and I actually really like it. The guitars actually kind of sound like something from a western showdown scene with these fast pasted slightly twangy guitars. The lyrics are good, and the vocal delivery is easy to grasp once you get used to his voice. This was a cool way to open the album, I can dig it. Strong start.

 

How about you invest some time into our Words with Friends game?

The Dryness And The Rain
Huh, this one also has a twang to its sound. Is that their thing, kind of sounding like a rock old western? Anyway, this song is cool. I like how its actually more spoke sung rather than straight up sung. Almost sounds like hes trying to preach to you lol. Its a cool song, although when the group vocals come in for the last minute I like it better. Its a good song, but Messes was better IMO

 

Wolf Am I! (And Shadow)

Well. Never mind, that twang sound I heard on the past two songs is gone. This sounds more like what I expected. Another 'spoke sung' song, although this one is a bit more interesting than the last one. This is almost like poems being read to you over rock music, these last two songs anyway. The music in these past few songs, I forgot to mention, is pretty good. This one has some really cool drumming and some interesting guitar work. I may be hearing "One day the waters gonna wash it away" stuck in my head for a bit.

 

Yellow Spider
Basically a soft poem interlude, this was actually wasn't that bad; though I could have skipped it. I bet this is bath time music, @bachna84 !

 

It would be good bathtime music!

A Glass Can Only Spill What It Contains
Heyyyy this song is pretty dang good. Its a bit more ferocious than the past few songs, there is even some echoed yelling. Aggressive, like this. The music is pretty up beat, and I love the rolling drums in the background of the song. And I like the chorus (Or the semblance of what is a chorus for this song). And I now finally fucking get where this chat thread gets its name. WHAT NEW MYSTERY IS THIS WHAT NEW MYSTERY IS THIS WHAT NEW MYSTERY IS THIS

Is it weird that parts of this song reminding me of...that band I used to listen to.....
