So they don’t think my son has C Diff but the test results won’t be in for a day or two. I picked him up a couple of prescription grade diaper rash creams at the pharmacy so hopefully those help. Going to try the BRAT (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) diet for the next few days to get the diarrhea (@Kennedy ) to stop.

my ideal BRAT diet would probably be bacon, ribs, Almond Joys, and tacos

Hey book worms.

My buddy @theagentcoma has a book club going here on Chorus. Basically theyre going to be reading a huge 10-book high fantasy series called ‘The Malazan Book of the Fallen’ by Steven Erikson. It's got a reputation for being a difficult but very rewarding read, and the fan base is fiercely devoted. They will be reading an allotted amount each week. Book one is called Gardens of the Moon and they’ll begin tomorrow. The first week of reading will be chapters 1-3 and will go from March 5th-11th.

They got a thread and a Goodreads group going so anyone is welcome to join. So if you want to read along with some friends check them out.

What kind of salsa do you buy?

 

I make my own

2 cans Hunts fire roasted diced tomatoes
2 jalapeños
1 Serrano
1/2 white or yellow onion
2 cloves garlic
Pinch of sugar
1/4 teaspoon cumin
Salt to taste

Put in food processor

Eat


There is a restaurant here called baby aculpulcos that I buy a container of theirs when I'm too lazy to make it.

 

I make my own salsa too.

Two large cans whole tomatoes
Cilantro
Lime juice squeezed from two limes
One garlic clove
1 whole habanero
1 green pepper
Three small cans green chiles
Pepper
1 jar Merzetta jalapenos
Sugar
Vinegar
Scallions, chopped

 

I buy salsa from this Mexican place near me. It has the best salsa I’ve ever had

 

Why put vinegar? That's the worst thing about store bought salsa they just use that as preservative and I hate the taste in salsa.

 

It's tasty!!!
