Good reviews! I think you should go back to the other hotelier album with the lyrics and give it another’s go... that album has so much lyrical depth it’s insane.

I don’t know, it’s not that i think getting wrapped up in the year count is lame - because I don’t think that at all. I like making my year end lists, and I love list season at the end of the year because I always find so much I missed... but the passed couple years I just havnt cared as much about being really on top of what’s new and what’s coming out. I’d rather just listen to what I wanna listen to I guess? Not that it’s like some elevated listening technique, I miss being super super into discovering new upcoming artists. But I dno, now a days I just care a lot more about finding any new album (new to me - any year) to listen to rather than getting involved in new releases. However, I want to find a better balance. Like I said, I miss being so in on what’s going on in the moment.

 

That being said, is it March 16th yet?

 

I also feel like my tastes are in a weird transition period where i still love everything I’ve always loved, but in terms of new music I’m listening to I’m getting a lot pickier

 

I wish cause then I’d be closer to April 27

 

Yeah it’s strange but also a little liberating, just in the sense that sometimes I’m like “well this isn’t doing it for me, but you know what, I’m going to go find something that does. Even if it’s 30 years old, idgaf”.

I’m just weird right now with music. I’ve been listening to mostly the same 20 records on heavy rotation for like 5 months probably lol



Other stuff too, but there is a core probably about 20 albums that just have not left rotation
