I just hope there's something half as good as "Footscray Station" on the record. That song is the GOAT

 

This Barely Civil album is pretty cool, even with some terrible song titles. Reminds me of some other stuff, but I can't quite place it.

 

Why wouldn't he? Nothing has happened in the past 6 months for him to think about that album in a different context that might make him not want to listen to it, or anything.

Note that I don't really care if people still listen to Brand New, but I do hope anyone who does at least does so with the recent allegations in mind

 

The first song is my favorite thing the band has ever done.

The first three songs are my favorites, along with "I've Got You." The entire things is very very good though.

I'm getting it a little bit on Kent (the song I'm on now) but never really felt it in the other songs. More Sorority Noise, Prawn, Dikembe, that kind of stuff (which were all clearly influenced by BN).

@Kennedy did you get all the way to "Super 8 // Marathon" on the Barely Civil album? Definitely the highlight for me.

The vocals on that, and a little bit on the closer, remind me of Kenny from The Starting Line.

 

This is such a fantastic rainy day song. Y'all should really listen to it.
