Hopesfall are a fantastic band, who are nothing like those two bands

Should I listen to any of Chevelle's stuff at all?

 

Yes!

 

Chevelle is great. I love all their stuff up through Sci Fi Crimes. After that I kind of fell off. But I hear their new stuff is a return to form.

same. growing up in dallas it was insufferable.

I did like their stadium though since we went there a few times a year as a kid, it was cheap for the bleacher seats. liked that the yankees played there alot throughout the year.

most hated franchise though.

above all others.

I cannot stand them or their fanbase.

That goes against all my rules though! I prefer not to listen to anything until an album is released so that everything is new and fresh! I especially don't like to hear the first or last song on a record before release!

im usually the same way, but with Mount Eerie it was too hard. im going to try not listening to Tintin again until i have the whole record.

Phil Elverum's voice is just absolutely perfect. It's so vulnerable, and soothing. I wanted to use the word flawless, but it has it's flaws and that's part of the appeal tbh

 

the softness and imperfections of his voice is what makes his voice so special to me.



dude i dont wanna hype too much, but tintin and distortion are some of the best phil songs ive ever heard period.
