the story so far are a pop punk band that talked a ton of shit on absolute punk... so

I always considered story of the year more post hardcore/pop punk but whatever ha

 

I knew one of them did something extra shitty, but I couldn't remember which one.

 

I've listened to 2 SOTY albums and from what I remember they were both more pop than hardcore.

 

yea I guess so, I guess thats how i group those early 2000s screamo bands. since its not actual screamo haha.

They do a good mix of metal and pop, but it depends on the album.
