Oh I never hated it. I just hadn't gotten that one to click yet. mostly because by the time that song comes on I'm usually very distracted.

after listening to it again. without distractions. and with lyrics I like it. especially after the beginning. not a huge fan of that beginning part, but when it brings in the other singers and it picks up I really liked that part. still not a favorite but maybe with more listens.

Finger Lakes region is beautiful. I absolutely loved that roadtrip. And in the fall was a perfect time to go. Got very fond memories of that vacation. Sadly their record stores werent great in Ithaca tho. Sound Garden in Syracuse however was excellent i bought 4 records there.

Is the Red Tape record (radioactivist) on Apple music? It’s been out since 2004 and the band hasn’t been active in years

 

That's pretty standard for smaller bands. I've even seen shorter than that for some bands of that scene.

I think you're just used to going to massive shows where the expectation should absolutely be set that it'll be minimum 90 minutes based on the cost of the show.

When i saw that band who’s latest record you adore so much live, they played for 50 minutes. That show was over before it began.

@ComedownMachine i know what you mean. They do play slightly shorter sets. Hotelier sets seem to be getting longer.


Personally, coming from someone who has played shows - I do not know how bands do like sets that are more than 20 songs. If I’m on stage, once I get to 10 I’m done haha
