Celebration Rock is overrated.

 

"Kings of the Weekend" is great, don't lump it in with that "Teenage Satellites" bullshit.

 

Yes of course. I admit teenage satellites, KOTW, and California are lesser songs. Doesn’t mean I can’t like a certain part of them (Matts backing vocals, a line or two sing a certain way).

again drums are good on this one too. Could just be that my earphones are not super great.


more whoa's. liked matts vocals in this one but that's about it.

 

the bridge on Kings of the Weekend redeems it. it's the only part of the entire album where there isn't any singing too, and the only part with like... an actual riff, which makes that bridge refreshing as fuck.

 

TS: I love the way matt sings his verse. The rest of the song I could skip but his verse is sung great.

KoTW: a fun song, and again matt sounds awesome

California: Matts backing vocals in the final chorus are great. The song itself...

 

And that’s just on this album

song is fun. again. I'd put this on a playlist for a dumb party that I'll never have.

 

The best song on California is cynical

It wasn’t enough to distract from my enjoyment of the album. I wouldn’t even remember that was a problem if people didn’t mention it. So no, not a big deal to me ^_^
