The twins turned 2 a little over 2 weeks ago and the newborn is 9 days old. He was born a week after their birthday.

It’s not too bad so far. The twins have been sleeping through the night since around 6 months, and the newborn has been pretty chill and only up to eat every 3 hours or so overnight.

 

I feel all of this pretty much to a T. Hang in there

 

I also wrote my first kids song. It’s (of course) about poop:

Poop
Gotta poop
Gotta poop poop poop
Gotta poop like a poopy-poopin’ pooper poops

 

Thanks, you too! Luckily I get 6 weeks off of work for paternity leave. 5 to go!

The hard part about that, though, is going to be transitioning the twins back to not having me with them all day every day.

Yeah it’s pretty nice. It used to be 2, but they changed it about 6 months before my twins were born.

How old are your kids?

 

My son is 2 1/2 years. My daughter will be 4 weeks tomorrow.

I also had 6 weeks paternity leave and kept my oldest in daycare 3 days a week for that very reason

When I had both of my kids my company had 0 paternity I used like a week of vacation. They finally instituted 2 weeks paternity last year.

My company doesn’t have a paternity policy. I could have taken up to 12 weeks off due to FMLA but it would all be PTO/unpaid time off. I took a week off for each of my kids.

 

My company gives 1 week paternity paid and I took another week of "Vacation/Sick" time. I definitely can't afford to take anything unpaid
