I listened to his album pre Barcelona this morning. Was some pretty good stuff. Pleasant surprise that it was on Apple Music. Have you heard it?

I have! I used to own it on CD. I don't really remember much of it though tbh. Just that it had some early versions of some of the songs on Absolutes.

Yeah 3 of them! Colors, Numb and Response. It brought me back to the very first time I heard Absolutes which made me nostalgic since I love that album so much. I will always prefer the original version of Absolutes because it has ''You Will Pull Through'' on it but over time I've grown to appreciate the reissue as much as the original release since the 4 bonus tracks are good and really add to the release. But I prefer the production on the indie release over the remastered version.

 

I've only ever heard the reissue, but "Come Back When You Can" and "The Takers" are among my favorite tracks on the album so it's hard for me to picture it without them. I think I've only heard "You Will Pull Through" maybe once - I looked it up when I discovered that there was an older version of the album with one track I hadn't heard.
