Okay this makes more sense. I watched the first two episodes hearing how dramatic and good this show was and I thought I’d picked the wrong show. I’ve heard such good things I’ll try to find the showtime series

It’s the same show. I mean it’s its own thing in that stylistically it is very different.

First of all, don’t be such a plebe. Second of all, watch the first THREE episodes you mother fuck. The third episode goes places and you’ll know if it’s right for you. Sometimes, greatness takes time!

Although, tbh, I love the first couple episodes. It’s not a slog imo. But the 3rd is where it shows its true colors

I'm sure once you've seen the whole thing, sometimes multiple times they're better. That's the general consensus though, is that the 3rd one is the one that pulls you in

Seriously. Those last two episodes of season 2 are dark. I’m also amazed Hannibal was on NBC lol, even by today’s standards.
