I don't watch too many horror movies since my wife doesnt like them very much.

Not a movie, but if anyone is a fan of horror then I highly suggest giving Twin Peaks season 3 a watch cause you get stuff like this

I tried watching the one on Netflix and it was terrible. Is this a remake of it or something??

Twin Peaks. The one on Netflix was from 1990 or something and it was super corny

 

Trick R Treat is great. It’s a must watch for me every October.

You’re fucking killing me man lol. No, it’s not a remake, it’s continuation. What’s on Netflix are seasons 1 and 2, which came out in the 90’s. Season 3 came out last year. It’s not for everyone, but I always tell people who want to watch Twin Peaks to at least watch the first three episodes (I’m talking the original run here) cause by the end of the third episode you’ll know if it’s for you. It’s also probably somewhat important to familiarize yourself with Lynch’s style and know that the original run of Twin Peaks is basically a soap opera parody. It’s incredibly melodramatic but it’s like that on purpose and mostly for comedic effect.

But the new season is basically its own thing and because it’s made on Showtime and not network tv, there are very little restrictions.

 

It’s not technically a horror movies, but Cheap Thrills is a pretty good movie I’d recommend.

I saw Funny Games mentioned above, that’s a good one.

I mentioned this a few weeks back, but 13 Tzameti is an interesting movie too that borders on horror.

Other movies that come to mind are Martyrs, Don’t Breathe (more of a thriller really), and Salo (possibly still the most messed up movie that I’ve seen).

The movie Would You Rather is another mindless, semi-enjoyable take on an unoriginal premise.

I also thought the movie The Invitation was fun. Staring Trey Atwood from The OC and Daario Naharis from GoT

 

Kill List was pretty good
