You made me want a BLT and I just had dinner.

 

Mine was actually more of a BAATA: bacon, arugula, avocado, tomato, and truffle aioli.

 

Catchy tune isn't it? That album is next on tap in my Goldfinger discography run.

 

I haven't listened to that album in years. And, given the cold, gloomy weather today, don't think I will be listening today.

 

I can get behind these lyrics because I recognize them. Was playing that record this morning.

Pretty close. It's got the B(acon) and the T(omato), it just replaces the L with a different leafy green and adds avocado.

Mayo is, unfortunately, the standard condiment for a BLT but it's not a requirement and this uses truffle aioli in its place – a vast improvement.

Exactly, it's a spring/summer, warm sunny day record. Not a 35ºF and "wintry mix" record.

 

I guess I'll allow it. But barely. Mainly because mayo is gross so not having that is good. And avocado is a great addition to almost anything.
