Yeah me too havent heard the new vendetta red yet either. VOID RIPPER is my main squeeze atm

 

Just finished my first listen of the Animal Flag album and it's really awesome!!!

It's really short (only 34 minutes) and the whole thing was solid. Highlights for me were Void Ripper, Stray, Lord of Pain, I Can Hear You Laugh, and Five (so over half the album), but there wasn't a bad song in the bunch. The sound/fuzziness of Candace was a bit of an odd decision, but it didn't take away from the song much.

 

The fuzz is awesome! Loving the guitar tones/distortion on this record and the rawness of the production.

 

Lyrics are a definite standout to me as well.

 

How’s the new Vendetta Red? I don’t have high hopes but ya never know

 

Never heard of these guys and probably never would have without this site. Absolutely loving what I'm hearing so far. Void Ripper rips, such a catchy and grooving riff. Is their back catalog in a similar style? Only on track 5 but if I dig this album as a whole, where to next?
