well, yeah, i know that he unfortunately passed away, but he was popular even before that. maybe i'm just an old man, but listening to his music, i just don't see the appeal.

 

I don’t mind Portugal. The Man, got some good tunes tht I actually kind of like.



But I really, really loathe ‘Feel It Still’

I like it. It's just overplayed, but that's what happens when you have a massive #1 hit.

 

I can’t stand that song! It annoys me. And much of the rest of Portugal’s catalogue is far superior

Feel It Still would have made such a great Baby Driver song

 

"Feel It Still" is not a good representation of the band.

Listen to the record The Satanic Satanist, In The Mountain In The Cloud or Evil Friends. Given your taste in music there's no way you wouldn't dig those!

You are right I do dig those. @ComedownMachine and I have had this exact same convo where he said the same thing, so I did. And I liked those a lot.

I don’t have to but I do. Maybe it’s like @Mr. Serotonin said and it’s the overplayed; I mean I didn’t care for it to begin with but perhaps hearing it everywhere makes it worse?
