Slide 1: John's parents did not introduce mewithoutYou to him his entire childhood.
Slide 2: John lived a humble life, grew up in the dallas area until moving, through no decision of his own, to El Paso.
Slide 3: in El Paso John continued to live a humble life. nothing fancy.
Slide 4: John did not start listening to/discovering music on his own until 2001 when he was lent a Godsmack cd from his cousins. His life would be forever changed.
Slide 5: John's parents were not accepting of this "new John" who listened to "devil worship music" such as Godsmack, Incubus and System of a Down. To this day his parents still do not understand.
Slide 6: From a young child John did not respect private companies ownership of things that he wanted but could not afford. This would lead John down a road of new music eventually.
Slide 7: in high school John would find himself at the local Hot Topic almost daily, he rarely bought anything but he almost always left with a new cd of a band he did not know about. Once safely in his car he would open the cd and listen to in victory.
Slide 8: One of these cds was an Emery cd, The Weaks End, this led John down the path of listening and discovering many of the bands that shared the label of Emery such as Underoath, Anberlin, Mae, and eventually mewithoutYou.
Slide 9: John wanted the new mewithoutYou album because he liked the artwork and thought he might enjoy it. He acquired the album that very day.
Slide 10: John never listened to another mewithoutYou album due to reasons unknown. The mystery may never be solved.
