Soooo...first show. I'm stoked for you!

Anybody got any good advice for Sheaver's first show?

If you want to be up front, you'll need to get there early and get up front fairly early to get used to the crowd pressing on the rail. It's a really weird thing the first time you go to a show like that - it'll be packed and it's an odd feeling. If you start to feel weird, you'll be fine, you'll be able to breathe, you'll be able to get out of there, and if you need to leave the front rail area make eye contact with people and use lots of hand gestures pointing to yourself then pointing past them, they'll understand.

However, I’m more worried about not being bored by myself...

 

I go to shows by myself all the time. Sometimes I like it better. you just do whatever you want.. its awkward at times too though. I went to TROW album release show alone and it was sort of empty there so it was real obvious that I was there alone. You won't have that issue.

 

You shouldn't have a problem during the show itself. Between bands is a good time to hop on here to tell us how the show's going!
