This is good. I’m hearing a lot of uptempo The National in general.

glad to see people here liking it, the albums a blast

 

There's like 3 or 4 really good songs on the Underoath album, but the rest are just kinda meh. Maybe I need to try giving it another shot.

I also felt the same way about the new Wonder Years.

 

my progression on the record was

eh its okay

okay i think I like this

I like it

I really like it

 

that's how i felt through my first listen of it. but that's because the best songs are near the end.

 

Yeah I don't get the wonder years. Oh well, people seem to like it.

sorry i didn't clarify. it was more of a progression of listens haha so maybe over 10 listens of the record

I thought it was ok on first listen, but it really hasn’t left me overly eager to listen again tbh.

Maybe I’ll give it a couple more listens.

Today is a MASSIVE release day. Second best, possibly the best release day of the year so far.

 

That is on my list of albums to check out this weekend as well! Underoath and HA are the two big ones. Open to suggestions of course.

 

as someone who wasn't a fan of twy outside of a few songs, i think their new album is incredible. massive thursday vibes throughout.
