I'm really proud of you

 

They're both great albums (in my opinion) and also very different albums, which makes them pretty hard for me to compare. Shrine is so new that I need to spend a lot more time with it before I make these kind of statements!

It's hard to believe that we've gotten all of these great releases and it's not even April yet.

 

And speaking of great releases...

Should we wrap up Nickelback sometime soon @Larry David ?

I’m going off first impression status myself. I only have listened to both albums a couple times in the past few days. But I do have a bigger desire to spin Gridlock again, so that’s a tell tale sign for me

 

I’ve listened to shrine a couple times and while I like it and get the broad appeal, I’m shocked it’s being hyped so much. Nothing particularly unique about it. Like someone else said somewhere, just sounds like as cities burn and similar bands.

 

I hear a lot more influences than just as cities burn.. MWY, Thrice, Manchester, Brand New, The Dear Hunter, bright eyes.. get vibes from all of those artist at times.
