That's cool I didn't realize they were 3 extra tracks mixed into the album.

Interesting way to have bonus tracks.

 

I think Brand New for one reason or another was one of those “Chorus” bands that were held in such high regard. I totally get it. I think people need a band to fill that void and this album just sits right in that happy spot where Brand New used to be it seems.

 

Yeah it flows so fucking well with them in there too.

 

i can't even with this record. its supid good.. like if someone said what do you want music to sound like this is it

Ya yet no one wants to say that on here its pretty funny. I agree but at the same time TROW have really come into their own on this record. Its a culmination of everything they have done in the past. They have been building towards this and now they have finally fully delivered on all that promise. The really great production plays a huge part in elevating everything on this record. Impressive consideing they are such a diy band.

 

What did you play by them?

 

haha this means a lot! I figured our album would be forgotten with TROW.. and I sort of knew that would happen which is why I was sort of happy when I saw their album wasn't going to be given to backers until Friday haha.

You only listened to their last LP his black teeth is sort of like a reworking album

 

I’ve said this in another thread but I don’t judge an album based upon singles. They might sound completely different in the context of flowing from one song to the next.

 

I sort of think their last LP is their weakest too. Listen to their first EP and Varuna.

I like His Old Branches a lot but i was never a big fan of Varuna. This is easily my favorite LP of theirs hands down. Its not even close tbh.
